Very, very impressive. To my untrained eye she looks like a dead ringer for Stacey Nieder of Alaska, who broke another of Trish Porter’s high jump records in March (at Albuquerque).
Clare has the same physical appearance, same approach, same speed, identical technique. I was very impressed with Clare in Honolulu (2005) and hope she shows up at either Bloomington or Lisle for our 2012 championships.

Congratulations Clare!!! Keep going…!
Thanks to Peter H. for the video and commentary.
Thanks to Ken S. for publishing this.
I’d love to see Trish and Stacey respond with jumps.

Hi Champ!
Congratulations, would have liked to be there. We highjumped on different days in Sacto, so I did not even see you.
Hope, you remember our good times at Oxy……
By the way, Coach Harvey was there as well, (Sacto) winning a Silver, no, not in the HJ! did you talk with him?

It was a very nice jump. I saw it in person, as I had just finished my javelin competition and was relaxing in my chair watching her. (Kind of fun to see myself in the background of the video.) Congratulations Clare!
