Diamond in the rough: Indoor championships beckon Ozarkites
World-class M50 hurdler Eugene Anton is used to obstacles, but a tall one looms in March: making a success of his USATF Ozark Association Masters/Open Indoor Championships at Principia College in Elsah, Illinois — less than an hour north of St. Louis. Eugene writes: “This next weekend, March 4, we have our open/masters association championship meet – a tune-up for nationals. … As of right now, with about a week to go, we’ve got less than a dozen (masters) signed up.” So what’s up, Ozarkians? Check out this info flier. And enter the meet.

This meet is the same day as the Michigan Open/Masters Association Championships. Is there a results list of last year’s meet available?

I live in the Ozark Assn. and I attended two Ozark Assn. Open-Masters competitions and was burned twice.I now stay registered in a southeast USATF Assn. and I never enter Ozark Assn. comps. That said, I wish them all the best in their future endeavors. Smartty

Post #3 Are you saying midwest meets should be published better? There is a track meet finder on http://www.mastersrankings.com that is helpful in finding many indoor and outdoor meets. I’m sure there are other helpful websites we don’t know of. Also USATF’S main web has a meet finder for all age divisions Open and Masters. Also a website called “Coach-O” is very good. hope this helps.

Coach-O is a real time website that is updated continually. Usually High School meet with masters and open divisions, but as people here more about it more masters meets will get posted on it.
