Oscar nominees were announced yesterday, and masters track was snubbed again. But in Canada, Earl Fee has a shot at stardom. – Earl holds an impressive list of records including 20 Canadian Masters Athletics records, 7 Indoor world age group records,7 Outdoor world age group records, and 29 specific age world records. Earl has held 9 Indoor and outdoor world age group records that have been surpassed by other athletes. He has broken a total of 52 World Records as of November, 2009.
– He has represented Canada at 12 consecutive World Masters Championships starting in 1987 and at two World Masters Games, in Eugene OR and most recently in Sydney AUS.
– Earl is the 7 time winner of the Ontario Masters Male Athlete Of The Year.
– In 2005 Earl was honoured as the IAAF Male Masters Athlete of the Year at a gala in Monaco.
– He is in both the Ontario Masters Athletics and Canadian Masters Athletic Association Hall of Fame.
– At age 81, Earl is showing exemplary training discipline, determination and the drive to succeed.
– He has been sharing his knowledge of the sport, having published two books on athletics training.Earl was born in Elstow, Saskatchewan, in 1929. He was a pioneer in the design of the Candu Reactor, working in the field for 35 years starting in 1956.

Earl has incredible energy, drive, ambition, mental toughness, focus and love for the sport of running! He has my vote too:)
I will vote for Earl many times over! Earl is the perfect role model for people of all ages. His love of the sport is a truly inspiring. Many like me owe it to Earl for remaining physically engaged to keep healthy and youngish!
Earl is not just another great runner. His books speaks volumes to the commitment and love for his fellow citizens.
