Project WOW launched to get fitness resolutions going NOW
Don McGrath, the author and masters motivator, has started a website for folks with fitness goals for 2011. He writes: “As I’ve been preparing to launch my next book project, where I will follow and write about the 2011 fitness journeys of a group of people, I’ve been hearing that many people want and need help staying accountable to their goals and fitness plans, yet are not ready to commit to a program like my book project. I’ve created a solution in the new free site at projectwow2011fitnesschallenge.ning.com.
Don continues:
The purpose of this site is to provide people a free place to share their 2011 fitness journeys and to get advice, encouragement and help them stay on track. Members can blog and share their favorite inspirational quotes, upload photos and videos, and read about what others like them are doing to stay on track. I will also be commenting on posts with advice to help members reach their goals.
This site is also where members of my book project, Project Wow, will be blogging about their 2011 fitness journeys.
So, I’d like to invite you to join and launch into 2011 with resolve and with a team of people ready and willing to help you along.

Ken, I appreciate your help in getting the word out on this latest project.

In just a week, over 20 people have become members and have started sharing and caring on http://www.projectwow2011fitnesschallenge.com. The purpose of this free site is to provide support and advice for people in their 2011 fitness journey.
I’m so excited about this, that I’ve decided to run a contest from February 1st to March 15th where members blog, upload photos, and upload videos about their fitness journey during that timeframe.
I will select a winner from each of three categories, blog posts, photo albums, and videos based on quantity, quality, relevance, and creativity.
Winners in each category get their choice of a P90X workout routine box set ($120 value) or an “Ironman” body composition scale where you can measure body fat as well as weight ($80 value).
To participate, sign up at http://www.projectwow2011fitnesschallenge.com and start blogging and uploading. It is really easy.
Tell all your friends about this fun opportunity.
Your friend in fitness,
Don McGrath, Ph.D.
