Cebron Robinson: newest masters sugar daddy
Well, Cebron Robinson — the M45 record-holder in hiding — was a no-show at Boston despite entering five events with otherworldly marks. Results for Friday, Saturday and Sunday don’t list his name at all. But wait! I can now reveal his secret! He’s not a fraud. He’s just a funky philanthropist. He never intended to run. But he wanted to show his support for USATF Masters by entering the meet and paying the fees involved. His generosity is worth at least $108 to the masters movement, helping Boston put on another first-class nationals! So we should all join in a big masters thank-you to Cebron! “See you” in Orono, CR!

Thank you, Mr. Robinson. I hope one day you’ll step on the track no matter what times you run. All are welcome here!
What a bunch of bull —-
if Mr Robinson wants to be a sugar daddy for USATF Masters Meet all he has to do send a check to the LOC – be a sponsor, for that he can get a pin, a shirt, or whatever if he wishes. Rather than making silly claims about his athletic accomplishments and detracting from those who actually turn up and perform.
And all the while you are writing about this blow-hard Ken – you fail to mention the sterling accomplishments of Jeanne Deprano who broke my W 70 mile record by 8 seconds – and set a new American record in the 800 as well – all withing a span of about 3 hours. Nope – not a word – about Jeanne – but lots and lots of words about a fraud who you now claim was just entering the meet so he could contribute financially to its success.
A true crock of you know what.
Ken,
Blogs allow people to post without regard to thinking, and one can say whatever they want because it’s their blog. There’s no need to slam and mock Mr.Robinson just because you can. Annually, there are a few masters that enter with totally unrealistic performances because they simply don’t know what’s really good in their return to competititon. Who knows why he put those performances down.
If both you and he are in Orono, I’ll be sure you both meet to discuss this.
