Doc has the wobblies in Indian 100-meter masters championship
Tamil Nadu is a state in southern India. One of its masters sprinters is named Dr. George Abraham Ambattu. But he could use a cure for the wobblies. Watch him cross the line in a 100-meter dash in March, winning what a YouTube video depicts as the “National Masters Athletics Championships-2014 in Coimbatore. Tamilnadu. Men U40 100M Final.” Officials appear to be watching the start well. Hope they watched the finish as well. Anyone got results?

He takes like 8 or 9 strides in lane three and he starts in lane 4.
Running a 200 meter race on that track would appear to be very difficult. It looks as if you have to negotiating almost a 45 degree turn coming into the final straight. It’s probably an optical illusion because the curve at the 100 meter finish line looks correct.
Doesn’t look like he interfered with the runner in the next lane, but surely he had to be DQ’d for that many strides out of his lane, Nolan, I’m not sure about the optical illusion aspect of that curve at the head of the straight; it looks to me like an awfully abrupt transition into the straight. Surely the track wasn’t laid asymmetrically?
Gold and bronze for Lane 3!
It looks like he’s running a curve the whole way, or maybe his left leg is shorter than his right. In any case, he’d be in real danger of injury in lane 1.
