WRs drop like flies at Daegu: Kathy Martin, Bob Lida have 2 each

Bob Lida (center) posted this on Facebook with note:
“Medal ceremony for 200 meter, with my good friends Bob Cozens of USA and Tony Bowman of Great Britain. Ran 29.15, lowering the world record time I set at USATF Nationals couple of weeks ago. I’m pleased, but was hoping to go under 29 seconds. Need to wait until outdoor season.â€

This page should have them all: https://results.simplyregister.net/Daegu2017/records.html
During the pentathlon M65 Klemens Grissmer in the long jump obtained 5.48 better the 5.38 of 20 March and, above all, the 5.39 of 4 March in the German National Champs in Erfurt.
Luigi Fasolato
Bob Lida had two faster times listed for age 75 but they are listed as offical WR’s.

A 27.03i and a 27.7 outdoor time on July 14th, 2012
Congrats, you are amazing Bob !!!
I’m very happy for all the great marks and the USA runners are amazing. I guess there are no throwers at the big meets, at least we never read about them.
Thanks for the observation Jerry. There were 15 American throwers in Daegu and they are bringing home 29 medals (if you include Gloria Krug ‘s 2 in the LJ and TJ). Nearly two times their proportion of the total US contingent. At least there’s a mention in the US meet wrap-up.
